Sketches in Encaustic

I'm new to encaustic. Below are some of my experiments. While working, I have been reflecting on memory and connections. Most have incorporated pieces of my past or bits of my present or both into the work. I feel like I am starting to develop a bit of a vocabulary. The work will be on display at Gimme Coffee on State Street, here in Ithaca, for the month of May.
